Search engine optimisation process
The diagram on the right shows an outline of the process for search engine optimisation.
The process begins with an evaluation of the existing site (if this isn’t a new build). This looks at site structure, keyword usage and external linking.
Existing sites may need structural changes to the existing pages to allow search engines to fully index there content. This is the first priority - if you’re not in the index you can’t get listed in search results!
Finding the optimum keywords to focus on is the next stage (and the entry point for new sites).
Using the selected keywords we then edit the copy from your pages to ensure high keyword densities of selected phrases appropriate to each page.
With the site itself in order, we can now focus on improving your page rank via a linking campaign.
Whilst to linking campaign proceeds you may also consider some pay-per-click advertising.
